The Muay Thai Uppercut May Not Be Used That Often But It Can Be A Show Stopper When It Is

Start with a good Muay Thai stance with your hands near your eyebrows and your elbows about 3 inches from your body.

Your aiming for the chin (sometimes called the knockout button).

Do not bob and weave before you throw it as this leaves you open to knees to the head.

Bridge the gap by stepping in to close range.

The punching hand (whether front or rear) dips very little before traveling forwards and upwards towards your opponent at a 45 degree angle.

Rotate the hips and torso and snap the shoulder for more power. Connect underneath your opponents chin with the front part of your knuckles.
